Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Ph.D., is an award winning poet, senior Jungian psychoanalyst, and a cantadora (keeper of the old stories in the Latina tradition). She has been in private practice for twenty-eight years and is former executive director of the C. G. Jung Centre for Research and Education in the United States. Her other published works include The Gift of Story: A Wise Tale About What is Enough. The Faithful Gardener: A Wise Tale About That Which Can Never Die, an eleven-volume series of best-selling audio works including Theatre of the Imagination, a twelve- part live performance series broadcast over National Public Radio Broadcasting Networks in Canada and the United States. Dr. Estés founded and directs la Sociedad de Guadalupe, a human rights educational organization that broadcasts, via audio, throughout the world.
